Join Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation for our Winter Social!
Thursday, February 10, 5:30-7:30 PM
The Press Room, 77 Daniel Street, Portsmouth (Upstairs)
We’ll be hosting a Winter Social on Thursday, Feb. 10, 5:30 PM at the Press Room in downtown Portsmouth. All are welcome! Get out of the house, enjoy free appetizers, raffle prizes and a cash bar, and learn about our latest programs and projects!
During the Social, we’ll be highlighting our latest conservation campaign, SCOOP or the Seacoast Canine Owners Outreach Program. SCOOP seeks to educate the public on the hazards of pet waste pollution on our coastline. The social will also feature the premiere of a video, “Beach Karma,” highlighting the importance of picking up after your pet.
We’re also looking for volunteers to help with visibility, event planning and creating positive change around the issue of pet waste on the Seacoast as part of SCOOP. Interested? Attend the Social for more information, or contact us at 603-431-0260 or info@blueoceansociety.org.
The SCOOP Project is funded in part by a grant from the NH Department of Environmental Services. Other project supporters include Barkin’ Biscuit and Darci Creative
