The Town of Rye recently received a Watershed Assistance and Restoration Grant from NH Department of Environmental Services (NH DES) to reduce the harmful effects of stormwater, better known as polluted runoff. The grant will help implement the Parsons Creek Watershed Plan. Implementation activities will help restore Parsons Creek, which is listed as an impaired waterbody by NH DES.
