DES Best Management Practice Site Visits – Summary Reports

One important part of Section 319 Grant funded projects is the implementation of structural Best Management Practices (BMPs) designed to protect or improve water quality.  In 2008 the NH DES Watershed Assistance Section began conducting site visits of BMPs implemented through Section 319 projects. The purpose of the site visits are to monitor the success of structural BMPs, and track maintenance and repair needs. We have recently completed brief reports summarizing the results of field visits completed in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 (attached).
