Funding Available for New Hampshire Stormwater and Nonpoint Source Projects!

The NH Dept of Environmental Services is soliciting pre-applications for stormwater and nonpoint source projects under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund. While this program has traditionally provided funds for wastewater treatment and unlined landfill closures, since 2010 it also has been available for stormwater and nonpoint source projects.

2012 Nonpoint Source SRF Ranking Criteria

Funds are available as low-interest loans, but applicants may be eligible for principal forgiveness for a portion of the loan.  This means that a portion of the loan would not have to be paid back.

To Apply:

Applicants must complete and return the attached “Pre-application for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund 2012 Capitalization Grant Funds” to Dan Fenno at daniel.fenno@des.nh.gov by 4:00 pm on July 20, 2012.

Project Ranking:

Check out the 2012 Nonpoint Source SRF Ranking Criteria for guidelines on eligiblity.  The need for CWSRF project funding in New Hampshire far exceeds the financing available.  Therefore, DES has developed the attached ranking system to prioritize projects for the most efficient use of available funds.
