GMCG to present PFAS Workshop on Thursday November 21

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of man-made chemicals used worldwide as an industrial surfactant in chemical processes.

This workshop sheds light on local PFAS contamination concerns, specifically due to our community being located over NH’s largest stratified drift aquifer, a shared natural resource for clean drinking water.

Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m.

At Runnells Hall, Chocorua, NH

Guest Speakers: Brandon Kernen (NH DES), and Shaina Kasper (Toxic Action Center Vermont)

Free event sponsored by The Tamworth Foundation

Presented by Green Mountain Conservation Group
