Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund – 2018 Pre-Apps Due June 15

NH CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING FUND (SRF) LOAN PROGRAM 2018 PRE-APPLICATIONS are due Friday, June 15th at 4:00 p.m.

NHDES is now accepting pre-applications for the 2018 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) for wastewater, stormwater and nonpoint source projects.  CWSRF funding is available for water pollution control, watershed protection and restoration, and estuary management projects that contribute to the protection of public health and water quality.

Principal forgiveness (PF) for loan recipients continues in 2018!

While funds are available, the CWSRF is offering principal forgiveness for a broad range of activities- summarized below- please read the  2018 CWSRF Pre-App Announcement for more detail, and contact us with questions.

  • Principal Forgiveness: Provided sufficient subsidy is available, NHDES plans to offer a percentage of principal forgiveness for wastewater and stormwater/nonpoint source projects awarded for 2017 projects (5%, 10% or 15%).
  • Planning Evaluations: 100% principal forgiveness up to $75,000. This is a new aspect for this program for Stormwater, please contact Deb Loiselle at: Deborah.loiselle@des.nh.gov or 603-271-1352 for more information.
  • Asset Management: 100% principal forgiveness up to $30,000
  • Energy Audits: up to $20,000 (no loan required) NHDES is planning to contract directly for the services to provide comprehensive energy audits for both wastewater treatment facilities and pumping stations. Loan agreements will not be required to receive up to $20,000 for energy audits and related expenses.
  • Septage Receiving Facilities: 20% principal forgiveness up to $200,000
  • Brown Grease Receiving Facilities: 50% principal forgiveness up to $300,000
  • Comprehensive Energy Audit Measure Implementation: 50% principal forgiveness up to $200,000
