This is a great example of a partnership including the Southwest Region Planning Commission, Spofford Lake Association, and the Town of Chesterfield working together to protect and improve Spofford Lake.  Professional consultants will help the group analyze scientific data and create a watershed-based plan that details pollution challenges, and provides a “road-map” to achieve the goal of excellent water quality at Spofford Lake.

The work is partially funded through a Section 604(b) Water Quality Planning Grant project managed by NHDES Watershed Assistance Section staff person, Jeff Marcoux.
