NO JOKE! Lakes Congress registration is OPEN!

2016 Lakes CongressOn-line registration opened on April 1 for the 23rd Annual Lakes Congress! Spaces in many of the sessions – including two communications training sessions led by Water Words That Work – are limited, so don’t delay, register today!

The 2016 Lakes Congress, hosted by the New Hampshire Lakes Association and presented by Grappone Automotive Group, will be held on June 2 and 3 at Church Landing in Meredith. Highlights of this popular educational, training, and networking event will include:

  • Hans Hug, Jr, diver and underwater historian, who will kick off Lakes Congress on the evening of Thursday, June 2, with his “What Lies Beneath Lake Winnipesaukee?” presentation
  • Céline Cousteau, granddaughter of legendary explorer and filmmaker Jacques Cousteau and one of the premier environmental speakers in the industry, who will present the keynote address on June 3 about spreading the ‘Blue Mind’  message to protect the Earth—including our lakes. ‘Blue Mind’ is the science that describes all of the physical, ecological, economic, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and social benefits of healthy waterbodies.
  • Eric Eckl and his team at Water Words That Work will present “Combat Communications for Conservationists” and “More Than A Message”- two highly sought-after communications trainings.
  • And, 13 additional concurrent workshop sessions – there’s bound to be something of interest to you!

If you have been to a Lakes Congress before, you know that it’s an educational, training, and networking event not-to-be missed by anyone who loves or works with our freshwater resources. If  you haven’t yet been to a Lakes Congress, we challenge you to trust us and give it a try this year—we guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
