The NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) is soliciting pre-applications from municipalities for stormwater and nonpoint source (NPS) projects under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF). Please submit your pre-applications for stormwater and nonpoint source projects by June 27, 2015 to be eligible for funding.
Stormwater CWSRF has been made easier.
There is an additional bonus for using SRF funds for stormwater. Not only do you receive low-interest loans, but we anticipate providing 20% principal forgiveness for most stormwater and NPS projects. And, unlike wastewater projects, costs associated with stormwater and NPS projects may be lower because in most cases, they are not required to follow the Davis-Bacon wage rate.

The CWSRF program is a low-interest loan program that assists communities with the planning, design and construction of eligible water pollution control infrastructure projects. Borrowers are typically municipal or other local government entities. Projects that address stormwater or nonpoint source pollution problems are eligible and most communities with publically owned wastewater systems are eligible to apply for a loan to improve their wastewater system.
