SAVE THE DATE – Eric Williams Well Wishers Wanted on May 13th

Greetings Colleagues, Family, Friends, and Fans of Eric Williams –

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) Watershed Assistance Section (WAS) cordially invites you to attend an open house for Eric Williams, DES-WAS Supervisor on Wednesday evening, May 13th between the hours of 4:30 and 8:00 pm. We shall gather to congratulate Eric on his new position with the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) http://www.oregon.gov/OWEB/pages/index.aspx where he will continue his mission of watershed protection, restoration, and partnership-building that has made him a respected leader in the environmental community in New Hampshire, New England, and on the national level. Eric will stride the halls of DES one last time on May 18th before loading up the Prius and heading west shortly thereafter.

The open house will be hosted by True Brew Barista in Concord, NH http://www.truebrewbarista.com/ located in Bicentennial Square, right off of Main Street. Please visit the website for directions and note that parking on Main Street will be limited due to construction. A parking garage in Concord may be your best bet.

We will bestow some fabulous, parting gifts upon Eric at the open house and know that you will want to contribute to these gestures of our thanks, admiration, and respect for the many years of service, inspiration, and leadership he has provided during his career here at DES. Please see anyone in the Watershed Assistance Section to contribute or track us down at the event on May 13th. Feel free to call or email Steve Landry to make other arrangements relative to gift donations. Thank you!

We hope that you will join us in a festive celebration for Eric on the 13th as we say thanks, offer our best wishes on the new job, share some laughs, and let our supervisor, colleague, mentor, coach, project partner, elite marathoner, grant funding sugar-daddy, and friend know that he will be deeply missed.

We look forward to seeing you all on May 13th to wish Eric the very best and to thank him for making the New Hampshire environment healthier during his career here with DES. See you soon!
