Today’s project photo: A lovely carpet of grassy pavers

On the sixth day of our Watershed Managers’  project photo Christmas, the Boscawen Conservation Commission, the Upper Merrimack River Local Advisory Committee and Steve Landry, Merrimack Watershed Supervisor, gave to us:   A grassy paver boat launch ramp and a kiosk under a tree.

The Jamie Welch Park Car-Top Access Erosion Control and Demonstration Project:   This installation is located at one of the busiest launches on the Upper Merrimack River and was once a gullied, dirt access point with tons of sediment eroded into the Merrimack River each year.
