DES offices at 29 Hazen Drive Concord, NH

RSVP by December 10, 2010

DES will be conducting a pre-Grant Agreement meeting for Section 319 grant project managers this year.  This meeting is intended to provide information regarding the paperwork and other administrative activities necessary for successful implementation of your pending 2011 Watershed Assistance or Watershed Restoration grant project.

We’ll cover things like:

-Grant Agreement Signing and Approval processes (plus Authority, Good Standing, Insurance, and other certifications)

-Payment, Match, and Procurement processes and documentation

-Reporting Requirements

-Question & answer, general discussion, and suggestions for DES

Even if you’ve managed one of these grant projects before, I think you’ll find the meeting informative.  We’ll give you a refresher on the general procedures and an update on some changes from previous grant years.  We’ll set aside some time for discussion so grantees can both receive and provide tips which others have found helpful.  We’d also like to gain some feedback from you to help DES make this process as easy as we possibly can.

The individual within your organization who will be responsible for completing grant related paperwork should attend, but other interested parties are welcome as well.  The meeting will begin at 9:00 here in the DES Concord office.  The presentation portion should only take about an hour, but I will stay on-hand after that for further discussion, suggestions, or questions for as long as anybody is interested. Light refreshments are planned.

RSVP deadline was December 10, 2010.  However, all 2011 grant recipients have not registered yet, so please let us know how many from your organization will attend.

Thank you!

Jeff Marcoux
