The Gundalow Company is offering its Coastal Contemporary Speaking Series for free to community decision-makers.
Here is what’s coming up in July:
- July 10: Heather Ballestero, PhD, will discuss the fate of oil after it’s spilled in marine environments and will also address the human dimensions of oil spills.
- July 17: UNH Zoology Professor Ray Grizzle joins Ray Konisky, marine conservation ecologist for The Nature Conservancy, with an update on local oyster restoration and other efforts to protect the estuary.
- July 24: Rachel Rouillard, Director of the Piscataqua Region Estuaries Partnership, gives an update on the health of our estuaries and practical solutions for a clean water future
- July 31: Geno Marconi, Director of the New Hampshire Port Authority, will provide an insider’s view of the working waterfront
The series is made possible in part by funding from the DES Coastal Program through a grant from NOAA. For more info and to learn more about the musical performances aboard the Gundalow view the July opportunities press release.
