Save the Date: Friday, March 29, 2013 for the WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL

The 2013 WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL – A Climate of Change has been scheduled for Friday, March 29, 2013.  The event is a benefit for the New Hampshire Rivers Council and will be held at Red River Theatres in Concord, NH.

In addition to viewing “awe inspiring films from around the world and close to home”, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the New Hampshire Rivers Council and there will be a celebration marking that milestone prior to show time at 6:30 pm.  Come early and share in the celebration! Last year was a sold out event, so register today and become a member of the New Hampshire Rivers Council by visiting http://www.nhrivers.org/film-festival/.

If you need more incentive to take in the 2013 WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL, you should note that one of the documentaries on the schedule features a New Hampshire river restoration project that was one of three projects selected from the United States by American Rivers included in their “Restoring America’s Rivers” DVD. Come check out a New Hampshire river restoration project on the big screen and get a chance to mingle with some of the stars from that movie during the evening!

Please consider donating auction items and participating in the auction that begins on March 26 and runs through April 5.  Details can be found at http://www.nhrivers.org/film-festival/.

See you at Red River Theatres on March 29th for the WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL!!!
