Watershed Management & Bacteria Source Tracking Workshop: Save the Date!

FB Environmental Associates, in collaboration with the City of Laconia, NH DES, the Lake Winnepesauke Watershed Association, and Environmental Canine Services, is pleased to offer a free, half-day workshop entitled “Protecting your Lakes: Bacteria Source Tracking and Watershed Management.” 

The workshop agenda includes information about watershed planning, septic system surveys, build out analyses, and watershed restoration and implementation grants, as well as various bacteria source tracking methods. The workshop will also include video demonstrations of canine detection by Sable and Logan, the dogs from Environmental Canine Services with a focus on how this type of pollutant source tracking tool can be used by lake municipalities.

The workshop will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weirs Community Center in Laconia, NH.
