Check out AWWA’s Blog: From the Headwaters

The Acton Wakefield Watersheds Alliance (AWWA) recently launched From the Headwaters, a blog designed to be a source of information for people interested in AWWA and the region’s watersheds.

This winter, Dustin Johnson, AWWA’s Program Director, will be blogging about his travels around the AWWA region where he will get some great photos of lakes, wildlife, snow, ice, and anything else he can.  Along with some wonderful photography, he will also highlight a particular lake for each blog post.  So not only will readers of AWWA’s blog be able to see the region’s lakes in the off season, the blog posts will also provide an opportunity to learn some fun facts about the lakes and their watersheds.

Dustin’s most recent post has some great pictures and information about a winter hike up Province Mountain (overlooking Province Lake). To read about Dustin’s adventure on Province Mountain, plus view earlier From the Headwaters posts click here:  http://awwatersheds.org/category/blog/
