Landscaping by the Water’s Edge

A workshop, titled “Landscaping by the Water’s Edge: An ecological approach”, will be held on August 7th, 6:30pm at the Moultonborough Safety Building, Route 25, Moultonborough.

The workshop, designed for homeowners, will feature Cathy Neal, co-author of the UNH Cooperative Extension publication “Landscaping by the Water’s Edge: An Ecological Approach”, and will cover a range of topics including how to investigate the water drainage on your property, zone planting, landscape design process, site preparation, environmentally friendly lawn care, and more.  Jay Aube, NH DES, will also be on hand to review the new regulations in the Shoreland Water Quality Protection Act.
