Surplus Land Disposal in Hampton

2019 SLR 006 Hampton

The RMAC has been notified of a possible proposed sale of 87 acres of New Hampshire Liquor Commission property adjacent to the state liquor stores on both the northbound and southbound sides of I-95 in Hampton. The parcels proposed for sale are adjacent to the Taylor River. Note that Hampton requires a 100 foot buffer around its prime wetlands.

Surplus Land Reviews – April 2019

The following Surplus Land Reviews were received in April, with comments due by May 6th.

  • 2019 SLR 002 Concord – Lease rooftop space at 29 Hazen Drive (NHDES!) in Concord to AT&T for cellular towers, plus ground space near the building for an equipment shed. The area proposed for lease is more than 250 feet from the Merrimack River, though within the corridor of the upper Merrimack River.
  • 2019 SLR 003 Berlin – Sale of 3.4 acres, including armory and storage buildings, probably to the City of Berlin. Parcel lies directly across Route 16 from the Androscoggin River, and within 60 feet of the river.
  • 2019 DOT SLR 072318 Nashua – Sale of 0.28 parcel of land along the west side of Daniel Webster Highway and just south of the FE Everett Turnpike Exit 2B NB off-ramp. The majority of the parcel is paved and used as a parking lot by an abutter.
