Bass Island, located at the mouth of the Piscataquog River in Manchester on Second Street between West Hancock and Cleveland Street, is a great fishing spot, kayak put-in, and a quiet park in which to enjoy nature. The park and the riverbanks around it need a little tidying, and we are looking for your help.

Bring (if you have them):

Thick waterproof gloves
Tall rubber boots
Garden tools

Contact Representative Jane Beaulieu to sign up or for more information at or 603-203-8440.

Sponsored by the Piscataquog River Local Advisory Committee and the City of Manchester.
