Project partners continue to make great progress at state-wide coverage of surveys

Since 2006, the Initiative has coordinated with partners to survey just under 12,000 stream crossings. The goal of the Initiative is to finalize the comprehensive assessment of all 21,769 stream crossings in New Hampshire by 2026.  The Initiative will accomplish this by leveraging existing partnerships, and increasing program momentum and capacity through new partnerships and grant funding. There is a rapidly increasing demand for this type of data in order to combat flooding risk and promote ecosystem continuity, these interests remain the forces driving the state closer to completion.
