 The information on this page is intended provide users with the most current operations
information for Sunapee Lake, Highland Lake, Island Pond, Souhegan Dam 19, and Souhegan 
Dam 28.  For specific information about operations and the current water levels and 
discharges at these locations, return to the map interface and select the appropriate 
link.

Sunapee Lake


The lake level at Sunapee Lake is 10.08. The release rate is around 20 cfs. Outflow is 
currently being restricted due to repair work being done at the dam.  The drawdown will
resume once that is complete within the next few weeks.

Highland Lake

The water level is at winter drawdown level.

Island Pond


The water level is close to drawdown level.

Souhegan Dam 19

This site is a flood control dam location, which operates automatically without 
human intervention.  The water level is monitored to determine if there may be a 
problem with the outlet works, and as a indicator of the level in this and the 
surrounding eleven flood control sites.

This site is a flood control dam location, which operates automatically without 
human intervention.  The water level is monitored to determine if there may be a 
problem with the outlet works, and as a indicator of the level in this and the 
surrounding eleven flood control sites.
